Dear John,
This week, the narrow progressive majority in the Minnesota Legislature is trying to advance several bills that threaten life, family, and religious freedom in Minnesota.

By now, you've probably heard about the headline-making hearing last week in the Minnesota House in which conservatives and people of faith
offered an amendment
to ensure that changes to the Minnesota Human Rights Act (
proposed in HF4021/SF4292
) would allow religious institutions to live out their values, only for progressive legislators to engage in personal attacks and call religious freedom defenders "hateful" and "bigoted."

Now, that bill will receive another hearing in the Minnesota Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee on Wednesday, March 6 at 12:30 PM. We need
every legislator
to vote decisively
for
religious freedom, as protected by the Constitution.
Please take action NOW by clicking the button below.
Tell my Legislators: PROTECT Religious Freedom
Earlier this year, we informed you about a hearing on physician-assisted suicide in the Minnesota House. Due to the outpouring of opposition we saw at that hearing, we were hopeful that no more hearings would be held on the bill this year. But now, progressives have scheduled a hearing for
Thursday, March 7,
in the Minnesota House Public Safety Committee.
The proposed assisted suicide bill (
HF1930
&
SF1813
) would legalize physician-assisted suicide in Minnesota. It is vitally important for legislators to hear from you. They need to know that Minnesotans do not support this deadly legislation!
It's time to take action.
FIRST:
or on the button below to send a message to your legislator asking them to support REAL care at the end of life, NOT physician-assisted suicide.
NEXT
: Please submit written testimony against physician-assisted suicide if you can. All written testimony must be submitted in PDF format without clickable links and submitted to the committee administrator,
[email protected]
by 12pm, Wednesday, March 6th.
FINALLY:
If you can, please attend the hearing in-person with Minnesota Family Council! Please arrive at least one hour early and please wear red in solidarity. Space is VERY limited.
LOCATION AND TIME:
Thursday, March 7, 2024, 10:30 AM. State Office Building Room 200.
Tell my Legislators: Vote NO on Physician-Assisted Suicide
