### A schedule that will excite you
This year's theme is Cultivating Community and besides our regular
program of free software projects and developments, the schedule
is full of sessions on mobilizing from the grassroots, increasing
diversity in the free software community, facilitating the participation
of volunteers, and encouraging users to contribute to their favorite
projects. Examples for sessions on cultivating community we are
looking forward to are:
* ["Fostering and renewing community in a long-lived free software project"][5] by T. Kim Nguyen;
* ["Empowering youth in the digital age: A path to success"][6] by Leonardo Champion;
* ["Connecting community organizations and technological activists for software freedom"][7] by Christina Haralanova;
* ["Hosting freedom - A behind-the-scenes tour with the Savannah Hackers"][8] by Corwin Brust; or
* ["It is easy to contribute to GNU"][9] by Wensheng Xie.

In addition, the schedule features a whole new track on being creative
with free software! Learn how to [write free culture fantasy with free
software][10] from Seth Patterson and how to [make a libre movie only
with libre software][11] from "Blender Dumbass." And of course, as
always, the LibrePlanet schedule also features talks on pressing
questions such as the [threats of so-called "artificial intelligence"][12],
and also sets the stage for fun and promising projects like [Lichess][13].
