Dear Free Software Supporter,

Headshots of speakers.

Today, we're sharing with you all the sessions that have been confirmed for LibrePlanet 2024: Cultivating Community. Exciting talks, hands-on workshops, and thrilling discussions await you. If you haven't registered already, register now to save your spot!

A schedule that will excite you

This year's theme is Cultivating Community and besides our regular program of free software projects and developments, the schedule is full of sessions on mobilizing from the grassroots, increasing diversity in the free software community, facilitating the participation of volunteers, and encouraging users to contribute to their favorite projects. Examples for sessions on cultivating community we are looking forward to are:

In addition, the schedule features a whole new track on being creative with free software! Learn how to write free culture fantasy with free software from Seth Patterson and how to make a libre movie with only libre software from "Blender Dumbass." And of course, as always, the LibrePlanet schedule also features talks on pressing questions such as the threats of so-called "artificial intelligence", and also sets the stage for fun and promising projects like Lichess.

This schedule also holds our annual Free Software Awards ceremony for 2023. We are sure it will intrigue both regulars and newcomers. And these are just some of the highlights that await you. Check out the full schedule of more than thirty sessions made to inspire you on the LibrePlanet website.

The Jupiter and Saturn rooms will exclusively feature in-person talks, all of which can also be viewed by remote attendees via the livestream. The Neptune room will be fully remote.
