Dear John, As our team at BREATHE LA continues to monitor federal and local updates on COVID-19, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. The coronavirus is the subject everywhere, from newspaper articles to Facebook groups, to the virtual classrooms many children are now using in place of going to school. As my family practices social distancing, my middle daughter recently asked me, “Daddy, what’s going to happen?” With questions arising, not just about health, but about jobs, income, the economy, and the evolving impact the situation has on our communities and families; it’s important that we address how we talk about these issues with our children.
