The coronavirus is the subject everywhere, from newspaper articles to Facebook groups, to the virtual classrooms many children are now using in place of going to school. As my family practices social distancing, my middle daughter recently asked me, “Daddy, what’s going to happen?”
With questions arising, not just about health, but about jobs, income, the economy, and the evolving impact the situation has on our communities and families; it’s important that we address how we talk about these issues with our children.
