Here are some updates from today.

* Fourteen GOP attorneys general filed ([link removed]) a brief supporting Georgia's argument that voters can't sue to enforce Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. Twelve of the same AGs also argue that voters can't sue under the Civil Rights Act's Materiality Provision.
* The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled ([link removed]) that the Harris County Republican Party in Texas does not have to release documents related to Senate Bill. 1, in a lawsuit challenging the state’s voter suppression law. Several Harris County Republicans were involved in writing and passing the law.
Here’s what to expect coming up.
* Tuesday is an order day for the U.S. Supreme Court. We’ll be keeping an eye out for two legislative redistricting cases in Washington ([link removed]) and a congressional redistricting case in Arkansas ([link removed]) .
* The Kansas Supreme Court will hear ([link removed]) oral argument in a lawsuit challenging two provisions of a 2021 voter suppression law. The two laws criminalize individuals for giving voter assistance, limit ballot collection, restrict advocacy organizations from helping voters, impose a signature verification requirement and more.
* The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear ([link removed]) oral argument in a lawsuit challenging Pennsylvania’s plan to not count undated mail-in ballots or wrongly dated mail-in ballots.
