John — the NRA spent over $30 million to elect Donald Trump so
they could call him whenever they wanted. And that's just what NRA chief
executive Wayne LaPierre reportedly did on Tuesday...and multiple times on
Wednesday. LaPierre told Trump that requiring background checks on all gun
sales would be unpopular with Trump's supporters. He told Trump stronger
gun laws are a bad idea.
This is the fight we're up against. It's not just the decades of dangerous
rhetoric and weakening or opposing gun safety laws, it's the direct line
to Trump. Our only chance to stop the NRA's extreme agenda is with our
grassroots movement to end gun violence and your support. [ [link removed] ]Contribute
