Video streaming site Rumble, which platforms QAnon conspiracy theorists, me=
n facing sexual misconduct allegations, and a white nationalist influencer,=
has a new opportunity in its sights: Jordan Peterson.
After Peterson complained he was facing censorship on YouTube, an X user of=
fered Rumble as an alternative for Peterson to post his videos.
=E2=80=9CYou're worth millions. Why don't you use new tech? I bet @rumblevi=
deo would put your video on the front page every time!=E2=80=9D wrote The Q=
uartering, a livestreamer who has been banned from Magic the Gathering even=
ts over harassment allegations.
Rumble's account jumped in to respond: =E2=80=9CYes, we would.=E2=80=9D
This is a revealing statement from the increasingly ambitious video-streami=
ng platform that hosts people who have been banned from other platforms. Re=

Google's antitrust trial
We finally have a date for the DOJ and several states taking Google to tria=
l over its adtech dominance: Sept. 9.
Adtech is the company=E2=80=99s largest revenue generator at over $150 bill=
ion a year, and it=E2=80=99s no surprise. Google controls the digital tool =
that nearly every major website publisher uses to sell ads, the dominant to=
ol that advertisers use to sell their ads, and the largest advertising exch=
ange where it all happens. And it keeps, on average, 30% of the ad dollars =
that flow through those products.

Adtech is the companyâs largest revenue generator at over $150 billion a year, and itâs no surprise. Google controls the digital tool that nearly every major website publisher uses to sell ads, the dominant tool that advertisers use to sell their ads, and the largest advertising exchange where it all happens. And it keeps, on average, 30% of the ad dollars that flow through those products.

Did Rumble offer Jordan Peterson front-page real estate?
Video streaming site Rumble, which platforms QAnon conspiracy theorists, men facing sexual misconduct allegations, and a white nationalist influencer, has a new opportunity in its sights: Jordan Peterson.
After Peterson complained he was facing censorship on YouTube, an X user offered Rumble as an alternative for Peterson to post his videos.
âYou're worth millions. Why don't you use new tech? I bet @rumblevideo would put your video on the front page every time!â wrote The Quartering, a livestreamer who has been banned from Magic the Gathering events over harassment allegations.
Rumble's account jumped in to respond: âYes, we would.â

Google's antitrust trial
We finally have a date for the DOJ and several states taking Google to trial over its adtech dominance: Sept. 9.
Adtech is the companyâs largest revenue generator at over $150 billion a year, and itâs no surprise. Google controls the digital tool that nearly every major website publisher uses to sell ads, the dominant tool that advertisers use to sell their ads, and the largest advertising exchange where it all happens. And it keeps, on average, 30% of the ad dollars that flow through those products.
Weâll be watching the case closely and sending out updates from the trial. Sarah Kay Wiley, our director of policy and partnerships, is going to be in Virginia to give her insights as the case unfolds.
