John,

Last night, many House Democrats and I voted against a $17 billion aid package for Israel that would fuel a war that has killed thousands, primarily women and children. This package is a blank check for Netanyahu and his far-right government with zero humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza, hundreds of thousands of whom face famine and lack access to medical treatment.

Israel had the right to defend itself following the October 7th Hamas attack, but the U.S. should never have given Netanyahu and his administration the green light to bomb civilians in the manner we've witnessed over the past many weeks.

Sign if you agree: We need a ceasefire and release of all hostages. [[link removed]]

The Leahy Law makes it clear: The United States must make sure any military assistance to any foreign security force is consistent with upholding human rights and international law.

What is needed today is to stop the bombing in Gaza, release of all hostages, and peace in the Middle East with a Palestinian state with equal rights co-existing alongside Israel.

TAKE ACTION: Demand a permanent ceasefire and release of all hostages. [[link removed]]
