This week, the House and Senate are scheduled to consider bills that include full funding of President Biden's emergency aid request for Israel. AIPAC supports initiatives in both chambers to advance the process forward and ensure Israel has the resources it needs to protect its families and win this war.

Gallant: Sinwar and Hamas leaders "on the run"


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said today that half of Hamas’ fighting force has been killed or injured since the war began.


"Our goal is a complete victory over Hamas," Netanyahu said. "We will kill the Hamas leadership, so we must continue to operate in all areas in the Gaza Strip. We must not end the war before then. It will take time — months, not years."

said that Hamas leadership, including Yahya Sinwar, is "on the run."


"Sinwar goes from hideout to hideout, and is unable to communicate with his surroundings," he said. "He turned from the head of Hamas into a fugitive terrorist, and IDF forces continue to pursue him."

IDF pushes toward Rafah


Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant

said today that the IDF has dismantled 18 out of Hamas' 24 battalions in Gaza, as the IDF continues to dismantle the terror group's infrastructure in Khan Yunis and pushes south.


Gallant issued a warning to the remaining Hamas fighters in the Egypt-bordering city of Rafah: "Every terrorist hiding in Rafah should know that his end will be like those in Khan Younis and Gaza [City]," he said.
