Hi John, it’s Karin, Executive Director of the Colorado Dems.
As you might have seen, we’re gearing up to support Democratic candidates across the state and promote our values through our precinct caucuses, assemblies, and conventions.
I wanted to talk to you about three specific and important roles that you may be interested in.
You can become a Delegate at the Democratic National Convention [[link removed]] , a member of the Democratic National Committee, or a Presidential Elector in the 2024 Election. I’ll explain each below.
>> Run to be a DNC Delegate << [[link removed]]
There are 4 different avenues to becoming a Delegate for the Democratic National Convention [[link removed]] :
1. District-Level Delegates - a total of 47 District delegates will be elected at the 8 different Congressional District Conventions on April 11th, 2024.
2. At-Large Delegates and Alternates - 16 Delegates and 6 Alternates will be elected at the State Convention on April 13, 2024.
3. Party Leader and Elected Official (PLEO) Delegates - 9 Delegates will be elected at the State Convention on April 13, 2024.
4. Automatic Party Leaders and Elected Officials - includes all members of Congress, DNC Members, and the Governor.
You can run for Delegate to the Democratic National Convention by filling out this form. [[link removed]]

>> Run to be a 2024 Presidential Elector << [[link removed]]
You’ve probably heard of the Electoral College, which officially elects the President. Well, you can run to be a part of it.
Colorado has 10 Presidential Electors, who will be elected at the Congressional district conventions and the state convention. You can click here to get started. [[link removed]]
These roles are vitally important for our democracy. We want as many people as possible, engaged voters like you, to see they can join the process and make a real impact.
Thank you for being an active member of our democracy and helping us protect it for future generations.
