DES is developing replacement contract 28123 for lawn and ground equipment.?The solicitation will be for agricultural lawn and grounds equipment, repair parts, and accessories.

DES seeks feedback about awarding contractors on contract 20622 for professional grade tools and diagnostic equipment. This is a cooperative contract from NASPO ValuePoint.

*DES? Breann Aggers wins NIGP award *

Breann Aggers, Procurement Strategist with DES? Contracts & Procurement Division, won the 2023 Procurement Professional of the Year from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), Washington chapter. Breann received her award during the WA NIGP Annual Meeting on Jan. 18.

Breann?s team nominated her for the award based on her work to get timely and effective results for the DES? most complicated solicitations and procurements. Breann is also sought after by C&P supervisors to mentor and help train new employees.

Elena McGrew, DES? Enterprise Procurement Manager, said, ?We can?t thank Breann enough for her commitment to our team, to our mission, and all the positive energy she brings to all that she does every day.?

The WA NIGP Chapter comprises 360 public procurement professionals from Washington state public agencies and political subdivisions.
