In an outrageous turn of events, one of Summer's opponents stooped to an
all-time low insulting the dignity of our entire community in an attempt
to attack her by claiming that the people of our district [ [link removed] ]"have no
families" and "live in squalor.”

At first we were speechless — but especially as we start off Black History
month, [ [link removed] ]"SqualorGate" is no joke. It’s a rallying cry to take a stand
against the disrespect and disdain our Republican funded opponents have
for Black, brown, working class, poor, and marginalized folks — and
frankly our entire district.

[ [link removed] ]We need your help more than ever to combat these racist accusations and
to support Summer, a true representative of our values and communities.

This isn't just about a single comment—it's about the lengths Summer's

Summer has always stood up for us, advocating for fairness, equality, and
justice. She knows the strength and dignity of our communities, contrary
to whatever our opponents have to say about the folks here. Now, Summer
needs us to stand up for her.

represent. It's clear that her right-wing funded opponents will resort to
any means necessary, including spreading lies, insulting our communities,
and accepting large donations from Republican donors just to try to take
her down. We can’t just sit back and let this happen…
