In an outrageous turn of events, one of Summer's opponents stooped to an all-time low insulting the dignity of our entire community in an attempt to attack her by claiming that the people of our district "have no families" and "live in squalor.”
At first we were speechless — but especially as we start off Black History month, "SqualorGate" is no joke. It’s a rallying cry to take a stand against the disrespect and disdain our Republican funded opponents have for Black, brown, working class, poor, and marginalized folks — and frankly our entire district.
