Hey John -

We at the Arlington Young Democrats are hoping that you and your family are doing well in this time of uncertainty. We realize the gravity of the situation in our country and the health and safety of all our members is important to us, so we want to make sure that you’re taking care of yourself. That comes first.

To keep AYD members invested, the Executive board has been working diligently to make sure that our members can still stay engaged in the political process while we practice social distancing. Feel free to stay tuned in over the coming weeks to see what you can do from the comfort of your own home. We would love to hear your suggestions too!

So feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] [[email protected]] , if you have a virtual activity that you want to suggest. In the meantime, here’s what we have been up to:

AYD COVID-19 Resource Hub
We’ve rolled out a new section on our website dedicated to giving the most up to date information on resources in Arlington County to help assist people in need due to COVID-19. We’re updating guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, pulling in resources we’re receiving from the county government, and adding in new community service opportunities as we continue to build a coalition for good here in our county. We want this to be your one stop resource to get you through this difficult time.

Here’s what we have so far:
