* North Carolina's new state Senate map will remain in effect as litigation challenging the districts continues, a federal judge ruled ([link removed]) . A lawsuit alleges that the map discriminates against Black voters and violates the Voting Rights Act.
* The Illinois State Board of Elections held ([link removed]) an administrative hearing on whether former President Donald Trump should be disqualified from the state's ballot under the 14th Amendment.
