  • North Carolina's new state Senate map will remain in effect as litigation challenging the districts continues, a federal judge ruled. A lawsuit alleges that the map discriminates against Black voters and violates the Voting Rights Act.

  • The Illinois State Board of Elections held an administrative hearing on whether former President Donald Trump should be disqualified from the state's ballot under the 14th Amendment.
