In Memory of Lane Brooks

It is with grieving hearts that we share the loss of one of our movement's most caring and committed advocates, Lane Brooks, who was a leader at Food & Water Watch since its founding. Lane’s smarts, dedication, and excellent leadership have been critical to building our movement into the force it is today, and his kindness and the positive light he brought to all he did will be missed by many.

Read more about Lane’s incredible work and legacy at Food & Water Watch.

GET INVOLVED

Get Lead Out of Our Water!
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a long-overdue update to federal water quality regulations for lead in drinking water. This is an important step forward, but more must be done. We need the EPA to:

* Ban PVC and chlorinated PVC service lines, don't replace one toxic pipe with another.
* Replace all lead service lines within 10 years at no cost to individual households.
* Lower the lead action level to no more than 5 parts per billion.

Tell the EPA to protect our water!
