John,

It’s been nearly three years since part-time senator Ted Cruz fled Texas
for Cancun during what became one of the worst storms in the history of
the state.

This week, as another major winter storm swept across the Lone Star State,
Ted decided to take up a new career as a wannabe comedian. But as it turns
out, he’s not very funny.

[ [link removed] ]A screenshot of Ted's tweet where he tried to laugh off his escape to
Cancun in the middle of a severe winter storm a few years ago.

(We also wouldn't ever recommend joining Ted Cruz in Cancun.)

Let's be clear,
John: It was never funny when
Ted abandoned his constituents during one of the deadliest storms in state
history, with record-cold temperatures and power outages, and it’s not
funny now.

At the very least, we deserve a full-time senator who will prioritize
Texans above all else and moreover, won’t flee the state when we need our
elected officials most.

If you agree, [ [link removed] ]can you pitch in $5 or anything that makes
sense to you to power our movement to Cut Cruz from the Senate this
November?
