Friends and Colleagues, Tomorrow the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee will hold a markup of the bipartisan Providing Reliable, Objective, Verifiable Emissions Intensity and Transparency (PROVE IT) Act. This bill would direct the Department of Energy to conduct a study inspired by the Council’s own carbon advantage research, to estimate the carbon efficiency of dozens of industries across the world’s major economies.
