John, I’m personally reaching out with some big news: I’m running for re-election to Congress in Georgia’s 6th District.

The past few months have been a whirlwind since Georgia Republicans blatantly gerrymandered our Congressional districts in a partisan attempt to remove me from Congress. When it became clear that these new maps were here to stay, I thought of the promise I made to my son - that I would do everything in my power never to let up the fight against gun violence.

I refuse to let the GOP’s cheap tactics determine when my time in Congress is over. However, the GOP is working overtime to keep me from returning to Congress by re-drawing all the lines.
