Nearly ten years ago, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law -- providing access to health care for millions of Americans. Yet since its adoption, it has been under attack.

Whether it was the 54 attempts by Congress to repeal the ACA from 2011-2014 or the 14 states that have still refused to expand Medicaid, many of these efforts to undermine the law were made possible by gerrymandering. Manipulated maps tipped the scales to extremes in states like North Carolina, Wisconsin and Georgia.
