2024 is here, and that means Democrats across the country are bracing for a hard-fought election to take back the People’s House from extremists like Mike Johnson, Steve Scalise, Tom Emmer, and Elise Stefanik.

That means that here in New York, we can’t take anything for granted. The GOP is becoming more extreme and emboldened to attack Democrats even in blue districts like right here in Brooklyn. We need to keep Yvette in office because she’s one of the top Democrats fighting for workers, for immigrants, and to defend our communities from growing and emboldened extremism and hate.

She’s the only Black woman representing any part of the state of New York in Congress and her voice is necessary to carry our concerns to Washington.
