himself and Texas on the national stage. In fact, he’s done it so often
that it’s difficult to remember every single embarrassing moment.
But as the U.S. Senate race in Texas intensifies, we thought we could all
use a refresher on just how important it is to part ways with our
part-time senator this November:

Ted shared his favorite fast food meal with his colleagues during a marathon
filibuster he launched in 2013 in a failed attempt to overturn Obamacare.

Cruz has spent nearly 12 years in the Senate, using his power to ask the

In that same time, we now know Ted is (constantly) on his phone…including during
Senate hearings…when he’s supposed to be working.

And of course, how could we forget about the time Ted fled Texas entirely during
a devastating winter storm when he decided he no longer wanted to do his job.

Texas is long overdue for a senator who is actually committed to doing
their job — and not abandoning its residents when the job gets
challenging.
In just 299 days, Texans and the country will vote in what is to be one of
the most consequential elections in recent history. And while most eyes
will be on the outcome of the presidential race, we’re hoping not only to
defeat Donald Trump but to send his biggest Senate enabler, Ted Cruz,
packing as well. We hear Cancun is nice.
