But as the U.S. Senate race in Texas intensifies, we thought we could all use a refresher on just how important it is to part ways with our part-time senator this November:
Ted shared his favorite fast food meal with his colleagues during a marathon filibuster he launched in 2013 in a failed attempt to overturn Obamacare.
Cruz has spent nearly 12 years in the Senate, using his power to ask the questions literally *no one else* is.
In that same time, we now know Ted is (constantly) on his phone…including during Senate hearings…when he’s supposed to be working.
And of course, how could we forget about the time Ted fled Texas entirely during a devastating winter storm when he decided he no longer wanted to do his job.
