Set in late 19th-century Boston, new American opera
THE MURDERESS ([link removed]) is a bone-chilling tale of murder and mercy. Based on real-life nurse turned serial killer "Jolly Jane" Toppan, THE MURDERESS is perfect for true crime lovers and opera aficionados alike.

First premiered in Kansas City earlier this year,
THE MURDERESS ([link removed]) is the first opera by Lawrence-based composer Allison McIntosh and librettist Trip Venturella. Featuring four fabulous singers and a six-piece orchestra, this is an intimate operatic experience designed to thrill.
