Team, I became the latest target for the anti-immigrant extremist far-right, with even Elon Musk and Senator Tommy Tuberville joining in, twisting my words about the 2020 census to push their violent anti-immigrant agenda:

These Twitter (I will NOT call it X) trolls need to read the constitution: It is our duty to count everyone to get an accurate representation of the makeup of our communities to fulfill their needs and ensure they’re being represented, regardless of their immigration status.

But that doesn’t mean anything to the anti-immigrant, anti-diversity extremists like Elon Musk. Immigrants are not only the heart and soul of our country, immigrants are a necessary part of growing our economy. But I wouldn’t count on the man who lost billions of dollars ruining Twitter to have good economic sense.
