** Resolutions

Over the weekend I hiked to the top of Lookout Tower at Frozen Head State Park to celebrate my friend Tina’s birthday. It was a little chilly at the top, but spending time in nature with friends warms my spirit and energizes me for the week ahead.


My personal New Year’s Resolutions are to eat healthier and sleep more -- easier said than done! I am also focused on my second-term priorities: reducing crime, addressing our housing crisis, eliminating traffic deaths, creating great public spaces, and mitigating the effects of climate change.


Knoxville’s future is bright! I am thankful to have four more years to continue serving as your Mayor.
