Resolutions

Over the weekend I hiked to the top of Lookout Tower at Frozen Head State Park to celebrate my friend Tina’s birthday.  It was a little chilly at the top, but spending time in nature with friends warms my spirit and energizes me for the week ahead.  

During the hike, I spent a lot of time thinking about the year ahead. My personal New Year’s Resolutions are to eat healthier and sleep more -- easier said than done!  I am also focused on my second-term priorities: reducing crime, addressing our housing crisis, eliminating traffic deaths, creating great public spaces, and mitigating the effects of climate change.

Knoxville’s future is bright!  I am thankful to have four more years to continue serving as your Mayor.
