The Supreme Court will fast-track a case over former President Donald Trump's eligibility for the 2024 presidential ballot. The case revolves around the Constitution's insurrection clause - 14th Amendment, Section 3 - which was originally enacted to keep former Confederates out of office.
SCOTUS has set a rapid schedule for the appeal, with arguments scheduled for Feb. 8.
