Youngkin with positive approval rating across all regions in Virginia

from Mason-Dixon Polling and Strategy that shows Governor Glenn Youngkin with
a 58% approval rating among Virginians.
Youngkin’s approval rating is higher today than it was a year ago, when the
same poll found Youngkin’s job approval rating at 56% among Virginians in
January 2023.
Youngkin’s approval rating among independents is 56%, according to the poll.
And Youngkin has a positive approval rating across every single region in
Virginia.
The polling, conducted in December, reflects Virginians’ positive view of
Youngkin’s continued focus on core issues affecting families across the
Commonwealth.
Last month alone, Youngkin made major policy announcements on the economy,
cost of living, education, and behavioral health that his administration is
spearheading.
Youngkin announced a landmark economic development deal

that will bring billions of dollars in revenue, tens of thousands of jobs, and
the Washington Wizards and Capitals to Virginia.
Youngkin also released his tax relief plan to lower income taxes across the
board for hardworking Virginians and called on the General Assembly to repeal
the car tax. Youngkin’s tax cut plan has received plaudits from Americans for

On education, Youngkin announced

that all 131 Virginia school divisions have finalized their ALL in VA plans,

free high-intensity tutoring, literacy, education, and measures to improve
school attendance.
Youngkin also announced the next step in his Right Help, Right Now initiative

with $500 million in additional funding to further transform Virginia’s
behavioral health system. Youngkin also released a Youth Mental Health Strategy
to address the youth mental health crisis in Virginia, with new legislation

to restrict access to TikTok for children under the age of 18.
The Mason-Dixon poll continues the trend of high approval ratings for Governor
Youngkin as he continues his mission to make Virginia the best place to live,
work, and raise a family.
