The polling, conducted in December, reflects Virginians’ positive view of Youngkin’s continued focus on core issues affecting families across the Commonwealth.
Last month alone, Youngkin made major policy announcements on the economy, cost of living, education, and behavioral health that his administration is spearheading.
Youngkin announced a landmark economic development deal that will bring billions of dollars in revenue, tens of thousands of jobs, and the Washington Wizards and Capitals to Virginia.
Youngkin also released his tax relief plan to lower income taxes across the board for hardworking Virginians and called on the General Assembly to repeal the car tax. Youngkin’s tax cut plan has received plaudits from Americans for Tax Reform, the Tax Foundation, and the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board.
On education, Youngkin announced that all 131 Virginia school divisions have finalized their ALL in VA plans, the initiative Youngkin launched to address significant learning loss through free high-intensity tutoring, literacy, education, and measures to improve school attendance.
Youngkin also announced the next step in his Right Help, Right Now initiative with $500 million in additional funding to further transform Virginia’s behavioral health system. Youngkin also released a Youth Mental Health Strategy to address the youth mental health crisis in Virginia, with new legislation to restrict access to TikTok for children under the age of 18.
The Mason-Dixon poll continues the trend of high approval ratings for Governor Youngkin as he continues his mission to make Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
