Happy New Year's Eve, John!
It's Governor Kelly, and on the last day of 2023, I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on the strides that Kansas Democrats across the state have made this year.
We've made an impressive amount of progress in the face of the extremists that dominate the State Legislature.
In 2024, we have the opportunity to break the Supermajorities and see what we can do for the people without the far-right holding us back.
John, Kansas Democrats are working hard to maintain a responsive government despite the extremist Supermajorities. Down below we have a list of big things we've been able to do in 2023, but first β for the New Year, the Kansas Democratic Party has set a $10,000 online goal to replace the extremists with people-first candidates, and we're still $2,641 away from reaching it. Can you donate any amount today to help us reach it by TONIGHT? [[link removed]]

2023 has been a long year, full of battles with the extremistSupermajorities to pass common-sense legislation that puts Kansans first, but Kansas Democrats up and down the ballot have been able to overcome that and :
π Expand high-speed internet access
π Fully fund K-12 education
π Increase access to affordable child care
π Repair our roads and bridges
π Put money back into Kansans' pockets
We've been able to accomplish so much in 2023, but if we can grow our coalition to break the Supermajorities in 2024 we'll be able to do even more.
John, it'll be even easier to pass people-first policies if we can elect more legislators that prioritize effective governance β which is exactly what the Kansas Dems are working toward. There are only a few hours left before the Kansas Democrats' End of Year Fundraising Deadline, and we're only $2,641 away. John, can you chip in to support our work in the New Year? [[link removed]]
