I've worked at Make-A-Wish(R) for 23 years, and it’s all because of kids like Brielle.
Brielle is an 11-year-old who loves lights, parades and, most of all, Christmas. But at a young age, she was diagnosed with a nervous system disorder that has impacted her mobility and speech. Brielle has faced many struggles, including long hospital stays and difficult treatments.

Granting Brielle’s wish meant the world to her, her family and her community. Each time we had tried in the past to grant her wish, she was too unwell to participate in the wish experience.
