Hi friend,

Next year is a massive election year, which can fill some of us with dread, but it’s also a huge opportunity to make real progress on the climate crisis by making our voices heard at the polls.

Unfortunately, the communities most affected by climate change, pollution, and environmental injustice are historically the same communities that face barriers to exercising their right to vote.

Please, make a tax-deductible gift before the end of the year to support our fight to expand voting access and protect our environment. Every dollar you’re able to contribute today will have a huge impact on our efforts to make civic participation more accessible.

California Environmental Voters Education Fund is working tirelessly to remove barriers to voting in order to galvanize support for policy changes and stop the most catastrophic impacts of climate change in the next decade. But we need your help.

Our power comes from grassroots supporters just like you. In the past we’ve been able to make voting more accessible by championing voting reforms like making vote by mail permanent. I’m reaching out today for your help so we can continue working towards expanding voting access for ALL Californians. Will you help us reach our goal tonight?

YEAR-END DEADLINE
Give now to support our efforts to end the climate crisis!
Name: Valued Supporter
Fundraising Goal: 50 more gifts
Deadline: MIDNIGHT TOMORROW
Suggested Gift: $35

I just checked the numbers, friend, and unfortunately we’re behind on our fundraising goal as the year comes to an end.

I know this team of environmental warriors can make up that difference.

A donation today of even just a few dollars will go a long way in our fight to expand voting access.

Recent polling EnviroVoters Ed Fund conducted with partner organizations confirmed that most Californians believe climate change is real and that its effects are getting worse. It also showed that our communities are demanding bold policies that will accelerate our progress towards the state’s climate goals.

Friend, we must ensure our communities can make their voices heard in 2024 at the polls. Expanding voting among young people, women, Black people, Indigenous people, and people of color is key because our democracy fails when any voices are excluded.

Please make a tax-deductible gift to California Environmental Voters Education Fund right now during our year-end donor drive to support our work to Get Out The Vote!

California Environmental Voters Education Fund (EnviroVoters Ed Fund) believes the climate crisis is here and this moment requires transformative change. EnviroVoters Ed Fund fights for equity and justice for all Californians, from voting rights to clean air and water. We work together to make government, policy, and voting accessible by conducting public opinion research, shaping the public narrative, organizing with allies and local communities, and educating legislators on pressing environmental issues. We won’t stop until we have resilient, healthy, thriving communities, and a democracy and economy that is just and sustainable for all.
