Will you make a matched gift to help birds like the Golden-cheeked Warbler?

[Year End 2X match up to $500,000; Donate Today; Bird Illustration;] ([link removed])

It's almost year's end, which means we've been reflecting on all the progress we've made together to protect birds, and how much further we still need to go to ensure we bring vulnerable birds back from the brink. With 389 birds at increasing risk of extinction from climate change, there isn't a moment to waste.

Give Annually ([link removed])

Birds have been telling us that we have to take action on climate, which is why we've worked to create a better future for our planet that both we and our beloved birds call home. But we know there is so much more to do and many challenges ahead. That's why we're asking you to act now for birds like the Golden-cheeked Warbler before the year ends in just 72 hours. When you start your annual donation, we'll match your first gift 2X—up to $500,000. Will you be one of the 222 new donors we need before midnight? ([link removed])

Give a Gift to Protect Birds on the Brink ([link removed])

Right now, 389 birds are at increasing risk of extinction from climate change, and with many species suffering population declines. The Golden-cheeked Warbler is one of the birds whose very survival is at risk due to the rise in global temperatures.

In fact, it’s estimated that 1.5 million acres—nearly a third of the Golden-cheeked Warbler’s home range—disappeared between 1999 and 2011. That’s in addition to 25% of remaining Golden-cheeked Warblers disappearing too.

As you can see, there isn’t a moment to waste to help protect vulnerable birds. Which is why we want to make sure we end this year on the right foot so we’re ready to hit the ground running in 2024. We’re counting on 222 generous bird lovers before midnight to keep us on pace. Will you start your annual gift right now to help make that happen? This compassionate choice is a convenient way to provide uninterrupted resources our teams can depend on in their work to defend birds year after year. ([link removed])

We’re defending the laws that protect birds at risk, advocating for strong legislation like the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, keeping important habitats resilient, and fighting for the bold climate action birds need now.

We know these actions can—and will— build a brighter future for at-risk birds. But we can’t continue advocating for the right solutions without your help.
