Texas-24 Work of the Week This week, I joined my Committee on Ways and Means colleagues in demanding IRS Commissioner Werfel testify before our committee on his failure to follow a law passed by Congress and signed by President Biden. Although I voted against this law, and continue to oppose its harmful provisions, I'm concerned about the IRS' legally dubious decision to change the law without authority from Congress. Texas-24 Hometown Hero This week's Texas-24 Hometown Hero is the Dallas 24 Hour Club, a transitional living for homeless alcoholics and addicts that provides support services and essential life skills to those wanting to recover.
