Irving, TX - As we head into the holidays, I wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! I hope you are surrounded by family and friends for a week full of love and laughter.

This week, I joined my Committee on Ways and Means colleagues in demanding IRS Commissioner Werfel testify before our committee on his failure to follow a law passed by Congress and signed by President Biden. Although I voted against this law, and continue to oppose its harmful provisions, I'm concerned about the IRS' legally dubious decision to change the law without authority from Congress.

This week's Texas-24 Hometown Hero is the Dallas 24 Hour Club, a transitional living for homeless alcoholics and addicts that provides support services and essential life skills to those wanting to recover. Thank you for all you do for our community!
