It means that the prosecution’s case does not rely on traumatizing a survivor.

It means there is undeniable evidence that is not the survivors’ testimony.

It means that when a trafficker is convicted, the survivor is not forgotten and their restitution is delivered.

This is the legal process the Financial Intelligence Unit at Polaris helps create for survivors. But far too many survivors still are forced to confront their traffickers in a courtroom, or never receive restitution after their trafficker is convicted.
