John,

What does it mean for the prosecution of traffickers to be survivor-centered?

It means that the prosecution’s case does not rely on traumatizing a survivor.

It means there is undeniable evidence that is not the survivors’ testimony.

It means that when a trafficker is convicted, the survivor is not forgotten and their restitution is delivered.

This is the legal process the Financial Intelligence Unit at Polaris helps create for survivors. But far too many survivors still are forced to confront their traffickers in a courtroom, or never receive restitution after their trafficker is convicted.

Will you help us change that?

SUPPORT SURVIVOR-CENTERED JUSTICE NOW

Your generosity helps support survivors by keeping them out of the courtroom and on their healing journey.

Support survivors’ healing journeys today.

Our Financial Intelligence Unit works with financial institutions and law enforcement to build legal cases that hold traffickers accountable for their financial crimes, uncovering evidence that doesn’t rely on forcing survivors to retell their stories.

This year, we delivered our 100th intelligence package, helping to identify large-scale human trafficking networks and to secure indictments against traffickers.

We’re committed to getting justice for survivors in a way that works for THEM. Are you with us?

Warmly,
Rafi Aliya Crockett, Polaris
