Defender,

We should have paws on the ground in Colorado this winter!

A judge has denied attempts to block the planned release of wolves in Colorado , and the state-led wolf reintroduction program will continue to move forward
despite last-minute, flimsy attempts to sabotage this historic effort.

Multiple anti-wolf groups filed cases to block wolf restoration and requested a
temporary restraining order to stop recovery efforts already underway.

Defenders was the first NGO to oppose these lawsuits and our lawyers were litigating on behalf of wolves up to the last minute to
stop this brazen attack.

AND WE WON!

This is a pivotal moment in the fight to bring wolves back to Colorado – but the
fight will continue after today, and our success will depend on your support.
