Folks,

Nikki has spent her life fighting for working families in the labor movement.

After college, she traveled the country fighting to get hardworking people the pay and workplace safety conditions they deserve. Now, she’s fighting just as hard for these folks in Washington.

That’s why when Akorn Pharmaceuticals suddenly closed their Decatur facility and left more than 400 workers jobless earlier this year, Nikki knew she needed to step up.

She proudly introduced the Fair Warning Act , legislation that will ensure workers receive proper notice in the event of layoffs.

It’s clear that we need to do more to protect workers and their families from unexpected layoffs, and Nikki’s legislation is a step in the right direction to ensure companies are treating working people with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Will you help power Nikki’s efforts to get this crucial legislation across the finish line by chipping in today? [[link removed]]
