Voted to Avert a Government Shutdown and Continue Critical Submarine Investment
[link removed] [[link removed]] Last month, Joe joined Democrats and Republicans alike to avert a government shutdown. He understood how important it was to ensure eastern Connecticut residents were able to continue receiving the services they rely on and allow Connecticut’s federal employees to continue working uninterrupted. Celebrated the $826 Million Federal Grant to Rebuild CT River Bridge
[link removed] [[link removed]] Joe joined the state leaders and the delegation to celebrate the $826 million grant to support the replacement of the Connecticut River Bridge, a 116-year-old bridge used by Amtrak. Joe has led years of advocacy calling for the federal government to deliver the necessary funding to rebuild the bridge, including securing an additional $130 million for the project.
