I've been working hard in DC and at home to continue delivering results for you and your family. I wanted to make sure you got the chance to check out some of the stuff I've been working on strengthen our community right here in CT-02.

Last month, Joe joined Democrats and Republicans alike to avert a government shutdown. He understood how important it was to ensure eastern Connecticut residents were able to continue receiving the services they rely on and allow Connecticut’s federal employees to continue working uninterrupted. Joe joined the state leaders and the delegation to celebrate the $826 million grant to support the replacement of the Connecticut River Bridge, a 116-year-old bridge used by Amtrak. Joe has led years of advocacy calling for the federal government to deliver the necessary funding to rebuild the bridge, including securing an additional $130 million for the project. READ MORE>>

Last month, he met with leaders from Windham's Veteran Service Organizations to listen to the concerns of veterans in Connecticut's 2nd District, reaffirming his commitment to championing their needs and ensuring their voices are heard in the halls of power.
