Friend,

My father was the ultimate example of service.

I grew up believing that serving one’s country in uniform is the HIGHEST
calling.

So 20 years later, I put on a uniform of my own and followed my own calling to
serve.

Friend, this is when everything changed.

In 2008, while on a mission in Afghanistan, my Humvee rolled over a roadside
bomb.

Instantly, our armored vehicle was reduced to a pile of rubble.

My body was doused in diesel fuel and I was covered in fire.

I still wonder why God didn’t take me that day. I’ve asked myself a million
times why I was saved.

Friend, I don’t have all the answers. But I truly believe that God didn’t call
me home that day because he had a plan for my life here on Earth.

The path to recovery wasn’t an easy road. I spent months wondering how my life
could ever be the same.

But that’s just the thing, Friend. Things would never be the same — God gave
me a new life, and I was going to use every breath to serve him.

From the nurses in the burn unit to the surgeons who performed over 30
surgeries to keep me alive, I knew that if I made it through… my life wouldn’t
be like it was before.

God was right there with me on the battlefield that day, as a fellow soldier
came to my aid.

He was right there with me during my recovery, where I met my wife Amy in the
burn unit.

I wasn’t alone then just as YOU are not alone today, Friend.

I hope that this message gives you hope when looking at the problems our
country faces today.

Friend, I have a tremendous amount of hope for America’s future.

As I sat in that burn unit it became clear: I didn’t know how, but I knew
somewhere, someway I would continue my service to this country.

Now is finally that time.

After much thought and prayer, I took the biggest leap of faith in my life,
and decided to run for the U.S Senate in Nevada.

I hope you'll join me in standing up to fight for the America we know and
love, so that she will not be destroyed forever.

Friend, I’m reaching out because I need strong believers in our country who
have hope for America’s future to have my back! Can I count on you?

Flip Nevada, flip the Senate. It’s that simple. Experts in both parties agree
that the path for Democrats to maintain their Senate majority becomes near to
impossible if we win this race. Can I count on your help to break Chuck
Schumer’s majority and return control of D.C. to conservatives?
