The battle to fix the broken family law system continues with the public hearings for the Joint Select Committee on Australia's Family Law System taking place in Townsville, Rockhampton, Brisbane and Sydney.
The inquiry is the most thorough in decades into the impact of the legal system on families enduring breakup and in particular those involving the custody of children.
The evidence collected during these public hearings will be crucial in the creation of a balanced family law system that supports both parents and create outcomes that benefit the children as they go through the difficulties of separation.
We know these cases are taking up to four years to come to an end, ruining lives, putting careers on hold, and particularly harming the kids, and these problems need to be fixed.
As Deputy Chair of the inquiry, Senator Hanson is working hard to ensure that everyday Aussies have a chance to tell the parliament the true stories of their suffering at the hands of our broken family law system.
Next public hearing dates:
* 06 Apr 2020 Launceston, TAS
* 07 Apr 2020 Hobart, TAS

Malcolm and Stephen in Mirani
One Nation Senator for Queensland Malcolm Roberts has spent much of this week working with One Nation’s member for Mirani Stephen Andrew.
As one of the only parties in Australia with representation at both a state and federal level, One Nation leads the way when it comes to making sure it’s representatives get out and speak to, listen to and learn from the Australians they represent.
This means when Malcolm and Stephen caught up with Steven Ford - General Manager of Pioneer Valley Water, they were able to take on board vital information about how the prohibitive price of water is driving people out of business and how it can be stopped.

Malcolm learnt Mirani was refused a $10,000 grant to put in permanent water tanks to ensure that there is always a water supply available. He was also told local firefighters had been denied permission to perform hazard reduction burns due to new regulations that forbid the removal of native grasses and shrubs putting a stop to protection burns.

Unlike the other parties, One Nation is passionate about getting out and learning the facts. We want to empower everyday Aussies by telling their stories and giving them a voice.

The Battle for Bundamba begins next week as pre-poll opens and early voting gets underway.
This by-election was brought on after a Labor Member resigned after facing years of bullying from her own colleagues.
One Nation is proud to have Sharon Bell (candidate), a long term local of Bundamba flying the PHON flag. Sharon and the One Nation team are looking for anyone willing to lend a hand in this crucial by-election to get in contact.
The Labor party is throwing tens of thousands of dollars at the seat, using money donated from Victoria, as they try and prop up a Victorian blow-in.
So One Nation is putting out the call!
If you are passionate about local representation and you are in the Bundamba region, then we could use your help.
This is a David versus Goliath battle. The outcome has the potential to reshape Queensland politics, so if you ever wanted an opportunity to help change the state and country for the better, get in contact with Sharon now!

That is this weeks recap from One Nation.
While you're here, we'd love to ask a favour. We are a party with fewer resources than Labor with their union donations and the Liberals with their big corporates, but with your help and by listening to the people, we can achieve real change in parliament for the betterment of the country.
One Nation is run on purely grassroots support. We rely on the contributions of mums, dads, daughters and sons from the top to bottom of Australia to stay running as a party and every dollar counts.
We appreciate times are tough but even a small amount of support makes a difference. Your help enables us to keep up the fight in politics and get Australia back on track.
