Approaching employers can be intimidating and it's okay to feel that way. Many employment specialists consider it daunting. Our course teaches techniques in how to approach and develop relationships with employers, empowering you to create job opportunities for your IPS clients.

This course is perfect for employment specialists, supervisors, occupational therapists, and vocational support workers who support IPS clients. We understand the challenges of employer engagement, and we're here to help you overcome them with practical skills and knowledge. * Practicing and developing your introduction to employers
* How to use the “three cups of tea” method effectively
* How to talk about the benefits of your IPS service to employers
* How to progress meetings onto the next stage
* Small vs large businesses
* Job placement vs job development
* Managing employers’ concerns via role play scenarios
* Sharing personal information with employers (disclosure)
