As a Waterkeeper Alliance supporter, your dedication to protecting local communities and waterways is essential. I'm reaching out today to shed light on a pressing issue: PFAS contamination.

Our recent report exposed the alarming presence of PFAS in 83% of 114 U.S. surface waters that we tested. ([link removed]) These "forever chemicals" are found in waterproof jackets, food packaging, nonstick pans, and myriad other everyday items and are linked to severe health issues. These pollutants contaminate drinking water sources nationwide and demand our immediate attention.

Waterkeeper Alliance advocates for a strong Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) final rule to address PFAS in drinking water. But at the same time, there are no science-based limits on industries discharging these chemicals into our waterways.

Waterkeeper Alliance is leading the charge to pressure the U.S. EPA to strictly regulate the discharge of PFAS into our nation's waters and hold polluters accountable for cleaning up their waste. Your contribution today ensures that we continue this critical advocacy work.
