Our recent report exposed the alarming presence of PFAS in 83% of 114 U.S. surface waters that we tested. These "forever chemicals" are found in waterproof jackets, food packaging, nonstick pans, and myriad other everyday items and are linked to severe health issues. These pollutants contaminate drinking water sources nationwide and demand our immediate attention.

Waterkeeper Alliance advocates for a strong Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) final rule to address PFAS in drinking water. But at the same time, there are no science-based limits on industries discharging these chemicals into our waterways.
