My heart is still breaking for all the families in El Paso, Dayton, Gilroy, and across the country devastated by gun violence. I cannot imagine the horrible pain of losing a loved one at the hands of something so preventable.

Because it IS preventable.

Background checks saves lives. Getting military-grade weapons off our streets saves lives. Common-sense gun safety reform saves lives.
